Photoshop: What is going on with this Tif?

So, I'm going along my day at BLADE doing some graphics work for Toyota when I come across an interesting Photoshop issue:

I have these 3D vehicles that do a kind of turntable animation. Along with these files is a multi-colored matte file that combines the car alpha and the shadow matte in one. Something like this:

Car beauty pass:

Car matte:

Normal so far. But when I take a look at the tif sequence in Photoshop, nothing. No layers, no channels, no layer comps. A blank file it seems.

BUT WAIT!

Drop it in After Effects or Nuke and Voila! It is all there. So what am I missing? Where's the artwork hiding in this file?

Please check it out and let me know what you find.
